Mia Gibbs
Therapeutic Tutor
Mia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of New Mexico and is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow. Her experience includes working as a Youth Leader in an after-school program, where she planned engaging enrichment activities and mentored elementary-aged students, as well as serving as a Psychology Teaching Assistant, helping college students succeed while developing her leadership and teaching skills. She loves seeing students overcome challenges, build confidence, and recognize their own potential. Her favorite part of working at LFA is building meaningful relationships with students and being part of a team that is dedicated to helping both students and tutors thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, taking them to the beach, making memories with family, and exploring new places around San Diego.
