Heather Poirier

Heather Poirier holds a B.A in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University and is a California
Credentialed Teacher. Her experience as an educator includes upper elementary classroom
teaching as well as being a School Programs Manager/ Lead Museum Educator in Balboa Park.
She enjoys working with diverse learners and honors each student’s unique abilities and
processes, and appreciates the relationship-building that 1:1 tutoring provides. In her free time,
Heather enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, playing outside, and spending time with her pets,
family, and friends.
